Angie is a Registered Nurse practicing for 20 years. Nursing background is mostly in Labor & Delivery, Maternal and Child Health. A member of CAPPA since March 2007. CAPPA Certified Labor Doula & Childbirth Educator. Accepted as a faculty member trainer for Childbirth Educators and Labor Doula Programs in 2008. Angie has helped many couples as a labor doula to have the desired birth experience and also provides workshops for staff development and trainings. The founder of A Special Touch - Community Doula Programs for Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis, Arkansas. Currently a Nurse Educator and also teaches Childbirth Education in the community. Angie has a desire to help expectant parents learn about pregnancy, birth, their options and help them to achieve the birth experience they desire. Her passion also lies in training others who wanted to change the way our world views birth and open up more opportunities for a mother's choice.
