Childbirth Education
Start your pregnancy off right. Childbirth education is part of the planning process for birth. Find a healthy pregnancy class this is the first class to take early in pregnancy to learn about changes during pregnancy, fetal development, staying healthy, exercise and nutrition during pregnancy.

Our classes are taught through a certified childbirth educator. Classes are designed to give you the evidence based information so that you can choose what options you want for your birth experience. Our classes are free through the UAMS Area Health Education Center at Crittenden Regional Hospital. Instructor is Angie Whatley, RN Nurse Educator with 12 years experience in childbirth, maternity and child health. Certified as a Childbirth Instructor through CAPPA.
